MFT: A Leading National Electronic Child Support Organization
The ICT Department for Children is unique among MFT’s departments because of the special target audience it has, who are children and adolescents.
Since early childhood education is rather more durable and effective, the basic concept of all computer-related sciences needs to be learned in childhood and adolescence. This is only possible through a focused education scheme, giving the opportunity to the learner to follow the path.
For this reason, the ICT Department for Children at MFT has set up an education initiative called PEKA (a Persian acronym for the Iranian Computer Leaders) that aims to provide children and adolescents from all over the country with a comprehensive education, from preschool to pre-university.
The PEKA Initiative, the most comprehensive training initiative in the field of computer sciences, builds up the general knowledge, intelligence, and life skills of children and adolescents. This initiative is run by MFT, an authorized private organization in Iran which has been awarded with the title of ‘Leading Supporter of Electronic Child’ in the Electronic Child Festival directly from the Iranian President.
Presently, training courses of this department run as a one-semester course in summer, or a nine-month course for schools and institutes. Those who pass the course will receive an authorized certificate required for upper levels.
More information about the PEKA Initiative is to be provided later on this web site.
